SIT，with engineering course as its distinctive feature, is a high-level full-time institution of higher learning offering a wide array of disciplines focusing on the applied science technologies.
Shanghai Institute of Technology owns two campuses – Fengxian campus and downtown campus, covering the total area of 1,106,870.2 square meters, and the total school construction area is 649,309.25 square meters. The disciplines of SIT covering 8 fields, namely engineering, natural science, liberal arts, laws, economics, management science and agriculture, consist of approximately 49 bachelor’s degree programs and 22 master’s degree programs. The total enrollment is 15,513, of them, undergraduates are 13,915, and postgraduates are 904.
There are 1,695 staffs working for SIT, among them, 1,038 are full-time teachers. SIT has 20 supervisors for PhD students and 460 supervisors for master’s students.
